Anyone out there who DE shaves twice (or more) a day?

I have a friend whose mustache grows at an amazing speed and the stubble is just ridiculously dense after a few hours. If he was in a top managerial position, I suppose he would be forced to do some touch-ups throughout the day before meetings but luckily for him, he is a tv commercial director.

I'm sure this has been discussed here before but I'd like to know if some of you find it necessary (or simply pleasurable or whatever) to DE shave more than once every 24 hours?

Yep. Maybe calling it a stubble only after a few hours is an exaggeration though, it's more like a "thick shadow".

There are many days where I shave twice, once before my 12h shift and once again once I get home. When I work at night I'll get one shave in at around 3pm and head off to work around 6:30, then once I get home around 8am or so I take a hot shower and clean up what has grown before heading to bed.

Depending if I have an event to go to in the evening like a wedding I might shave twice.

Rarely do I feel I need a second one since starting DE shaving. But if I shaved early and I'm going out late, I'll take a second shave, many times with a brushless cream. Since I got the Fat, though, I've used it for a couple of evening shaves!

I do a single pass shave every night, for this I use my Merkur heavy duty and either a Shark or an Astra. Then in the morning I break out the open comb and do a 2-3 pass shave with either of the same two blades.

Aside from the fact that I enjoy shaving the nightly shave makes my morning shave easier. I have a really heavy beard and it's pretty long by the morning if I let it go. I don't get much irritation if I go slow, I think my skin is used to the routine by now.

I've done it on occasions but can't say that I like shaving that frequently.

Too much shaving makes my face sore even with all the Balms and A/S that I have. Besides it's too time consuming to do that.

If I shave in the a.m. and have an evening engagement I have to shave twice a day.

Since I am retired I usually shave in the late morning or early afternoon. However, if I am traveling somewhere I will shave in the a.m. and will have to shave again to look presentable in the evening.

If, for example, I am on a cruise I will do a WTG and XTG shave in the a.m. and a four pass shave in the evening.

I sometimes do one in the morning before work and another in the late afternoon before seeing the gf.

Problem is that doing that dries my face out really fast so usually I only do that on Friday
