That's been there for AGES. I've eyed it a few times. It's a pretty stone, reminds me of mine... which I got for a little bit less than twenty grand.

yes... once i saw an auction that ended 700 dollars for a simple vintage used safety razor that would cost around 50 dollars unused...

Beautiful stone.
Thanks. One of the first things I bought when I started honing razors (Don't remember if I got it or my DMT's first), and still with me. 5+ years and I'm STILL finding ways to tweak the edges I get off this stone. The karasu's are really fun and pretty stones, but of the three I've had, two were hard as glass (this being one) and the only one that wasn't was riddled with su, nearly as fast as a DMT 1200, but only gave around 3-4k finish max. I actually wish I kept it... didn't appreciate anything but finishers back then.
If you've got the 20k and are willing to risk it on a 330mate stone though, let me know how it works. Better yet, let me borrow it. I'll use mine as a slurry stone on it.

It is a pretty stone and I would like to have a Karasu one day. Think I can keep looking.
