Anyone have experience with Suavecito Bay Rum

I saw that West Coast Shaving is carrying this and pretty inexpensive. Anyone have an experience with it they would like to share? Maybe describe the scent relative to Pinauds, Masters, etc...?

Rickboone1 was going to start carrying it before he ceased his vendor status. I just finished up a sample of the Bay Rum AS. It's got a great smell, and is a little "hotter" than some AS's with alcohol.

I used a whole bottle of it over the last year. The tall clear bottle before they changed it to the brown bottles. Its a very nice bay rum, clovey and cinmamony. Its a very nice, cheap bay rum aftershave, not much for moisturizing though, so I added some glycerin to it. In the same league as say pinauds bayrum, although not as nuclear warfare'y on the face.

I love its clovey smell very much, but it's the first bay rum I have tried so I cannot make comparisons. The smell is not very lasting.

My barber switched to this(from Johnnyb PM) and I have to say it smells very nice. My wife loves it!
Convenient too as they sell it there for $7.

I also agree with Spoony, it is like a ViBR Light. Nowhere near the burn or longevity as the Clubman but similar in structure with the cloves and cinnamon. I wouldn't let the cheap price deter you as it's winner for guys who like their a/s to stay nice and close.

It seems to be a relabeled version of Gabel's Bay Rum. I've got both.

I like it a lot. It is a very simple formula with just denatured alcohol, water and bay tree oil. The real thing, very minimalist. No additional skin conditioning ingredients, but that is not necessarily a downside.

When people talk about clove or cinnamon, these are just parts of the natural bay tree oil scent.

It is usually cheaper to buy Gabel's Bay Rum by the pint, but the Suavecido is not really expensive, either.
