Anyone have any experience purchasing from Sesto Senso?

I ordered my first DE razor, a Merkur 34c, from Sesto Senso via Amazon, on August 4th. It's presently the 9th, and the thing hasn't even shipped yet! Worse, I've contacted them via email, which they've ignored, and phone, which they failed to answer.

Does anyone have any experience with this company? Is this just bad luck, or do they have a bad track record? Any ideas as to next steps?

I have ordered a few items from them (shaving cream, /TH pre-shave oil) and got my items right on time.

About five minutes after I posted this, I got a message saying that they'd already shipped it and that it was Amazon's fault for not updating.

Goes to show you... patience is a virtue!
 
They advertise longer shipping times than most, I think. My 2 tubes of Proraso arrived in FL in their projected time frame.
 
Not sure why, but most things I order which are shipped UPS ground or First Class mail take a day or two longer to reach me here in Florida.

Sesto Senso, two previous orders, took two days longer than most other independent or Amazon-associated vendors.
