Anyone Happen to Have Tried/Own This Brush?

As in a mix of soap and cream. (You should DEFINITELY try that.) The 660 SB is on the soft side, but still stiff enough for a pretty good exfoliation, and holds a lot of lather. It's my current favorite. One trick is to hold the brush slightly above the handle (i.e., the beginning of the bristles) to stiffen it for a good face scrub, then retreat to the handle for slathering on the rich lathery goodness.

BTW, BullGoose sells the same brush in Medium Super Badger for $43 and in Large for $50. No affiliation, but if you're about to buy, you should know.

Full disclosure: my only modern brushes are the Vulfix 660, and a Caswell Massey that came with a set. I have not used the range of brushes that some of the savants here have. Most of my brushes are antiques, and I can tell you that even the badger ones are stiffer than modern tastes seem to like.

This was my first brush. I got it from Lee's, and liked it a lot. Used it for creams exclusively, and got gobs of lather quickly (I face lather). Was worried in the beginning that it would be too big, but liked it enough to get a 26mm brush afterwards. My only complaint is that the brush shed a lot of hair (about 4-6 every day for several weeks), but Lee's service is excellent, and he replaced it.
