Anyone get a TiTan UFO handle?

It looks like at least 8 have been made.

I ordered one. Anxiously awaiting its arrival.

They look gorgeous and a titanium handle is just plain super cool.

I'm just trying to decide which razor to pair with the handle when it arrives.

Titanium Handle? Really? Whats the weight? I know Titanium is a light metal but can't be to light if made from a Solid Bar of Titanium. Got a Link to the UFO handles ?

I received my UFO TiTAN this past week ... I would have had it sooner, but was on vacation over the Holidays. I placed my order with Rafael prior to the Holidays, with full confidence in his ability to craft something exquisite.

This UFO TiTAN surpassed my expectations. Although all of the UFO handles are beautiful in my view ... the titanium TiTAN is truly distinctive! When I first opened the package at the post office upon taking receipt of the parcel ... I was startled by the sheer magnificence of the handle. It looks similar to the Goliath in SS, but is remarkably lighter. It also reflects light in a unique manner when compared to SS. As others have pointed out, it changes hues when exposed to water ... quite interesting. In addition to the visual splendor, the handle's dynamics are superb ... although it has a confident width of 15mm, it's quite nimble owing to it's light weight, resulting in a wonderful shaving experience. I have only used it with my Weber razor heads so far ... and have achieved quality shaves effortlessly with this combination. To those contemplating a UFO handle, I say ... just do it!

I'll be the first to admit, I'm not usually one to get excited about niche razor handles, blades, strops, etc. But this is brilliant looking!

It really is beautiful ... and functional. The nice thing is the versatility also ... these handles work with a multitude of razor heads, so for me, it's money well spent as opposed to some of the other 'niche' items I've accumulated that don't see as much use.

This is hard for me to admit, but the thing is just awesome at the weight it is. I had been going heavier and heavier and bigger and bigger. So this was a little bit of a 180 for me.

It's beefy, but not something I'd be distracted by in terms of dropping on my toe while shaving. It's just too grippy.

With a Tradere SB head it has a balance similar to a #58 TTO Gillette.

It's not too short and not too long. Not spindly at all like holding a pencil or an original Tech handle feels.
It fills my grip and bites in comfortably along the handle. I bet if I needed to I could file my nails on the knurling.

The only thing that could make this better, like the only little detail that could possibly make me consider selling all my other razors, is that I would love to add a rare earth magnet to the bottom of the handle. It's not that it's missing it. I'm just saying that if it had one, I wouldn't be able to think of anything that could improve or surpass it for me.

I've used it now with a Gillette Tech head, a British New, a Tradere, and a Replated L.C. New. The Tech was a little mild and light-weight. The other Gilelttes were great, but the Tradere head has the comparable exquisite tolerances and heft to compliment this handle. A match made in heaven!

No, no. Mine was the first TiTAN that Rafael made. The first attempt. 15.5 mm caliber, 60 gr.
Now TiTANs are sold out. He is trying to acquire more material at good price.
This is my SOTD pic. Today I've used it.

I ordered a Goliath and it's wonderfully made and very beautiful but I've traded it with Teiste because to me it's not working when I shave, didn't feel right to me, I prefer curved handles it seems. There will be a new one out in a few weeks, the Colibri that's smaller.
