Anyone ever used a Simpson Polo 14???

Hey guys,

Just curious if you can give me any feedback on a Polo 14 in super. I'm looking at one and would like some feedback before I pull the trigger on it. It is a Somerset in super...

Thanks,

Justin

Never used one, but if you don't like it you can probably just use it to sweep the floors or for use as a doorstop. That thing must be HUGE

 I know, I'm thinking it will be that special brush that I will use on the weekends. Can you imagine this thing? I bet I could lather my whole block and have enough left for a nice three pass for myself...

I have posted a few times in the BST wanting to buy Somerset Simpson's but as they are not available anymore I have not had much luck finding any. I guess that is the main reason I ask about this Polo 14, although it is huge it is still a Somerset in super...

Well I have to say that I recommend at least getting one if you can. I did afterall. It really is a nice brush, and I may use it tomorrow just cause you brought it up :)

Yes Justin,I used a Polo 14 on one occasion and found it enjoyable. I made my lather in a bowl and it produced an immense amount of great lather. Its a little unwieldy on the face but not bad. The only brush I ever used that was larger and produced more lather was my Kent BK12 Pure Badger brush. That one was a Monster but still luxurious and fun to use(when you're not in a hurry !!)Of course, it depends on your personal taste but I think you'd like the Polo.
