What's new

Anybody else name their razor(s)?

I'm not talking about manufacturer's name or model name. What's going on is that soon I'll have a complete seven day rotation and I'm thinking of the idea of giving each of them a name. One was a hand-me-down from my grandfather, so it follows that I should name it after him. There is another that's almost an identical twin to grampa's razor and I'm thinking of naming it after my father. Anybody else do this, or am I just being way too anal?
Of course if you have ideas for names let's hear them. Witty is good. inappropriate double entedre, not so much.

Spy, Jon, Henry,

Thank you guys I got it from cooncatbob, handle was $40 and the old type head was $20 and $3 ship. He left the wood bare for me to allowed me to apply my own wood finish the way I like it. Its danish oil and renaissance wax, it makes the wood water proof and it leaves it with a natural kind of feel and doest leave finger prints.

I use straights almost every day, I bought this one for the days im in a hurry as I do love the old type gillettes. It might see a shave or two shave every 1-2 weeks.

Oh god yes. I even name my brushes. All the ones I restore and sell always have a nickname. I think it gives them some personality. Or perhaps I need more friends.....:tongue_sm

I have named each of my straight razors, after I started noticing each one seemed to have her own personality.

There's Anna, Gabriella, Anastasia, Victoria ....

Only one of mine has a name other than its brand (With the others being 'The duck..' 'The Torrey' 'The simmons' etc.).

It's known as

'The lusty razor'

Because I lusted after it for a long time. Now that I have it, it is still the lusty razor.
