I am looking for a rifle that is an accurate paper pusher past 500 yards, but would also make a great deer rifle for Western Maryland. I am thinking about getting an Icon Precision Hunter. It is supposedly sub-MOA certified (less than 1" for a 3 shot group at 100 yards). In terms of caliber, I am thinking 308 Winchester. Anyone own or familiar with this rifle? Comments? Maybe the idea of a dual use rifle like this is unrealistic?
