Any Swimmers Out There?

Does the chlorine impact your shave or your shave (e.g., choice of soap, cream, AS, etc.)? I find that certain products dry me out way too much to be used when I shave after my morning swim. For example, I can't use Proraso green AS after a swim; the white one is fine though. Any of the T&H balms are great, however.

funny - when last we swam, we would keep our faces shaggy for additional drag until race day. i tried to, anyway.

my apologies - this reply isn't helpful in the slightest. good luck and happy swimming!

And for "States," we'd shave (almost) everything. Wasn't using a straight or DE then (thankfully I think).

I'm in the pool 2-3 times a week (learning to swim), and find the same thing - the chlorine dries me out. I make it a point to moisturize after the shower, and have gone back to using jojoba oil as my pre-shave face moisturizer.

I haven't done any extensive swimming (former water polo player) in some time, certainly not since I've gone DE.

The only product I have that I would guess would be less comfortable due to dry skin from swimming would be Arko. I'd probably use balm afterwards more often rather than WH.
