Picked up a pair of used Kiowas, and the distressed leather looks to have been "un-distressed" in spots, for lack of a better term...either oiled, creamed, buffed, or something that has darkened areas and removed the suede-like nap that the shoe looks to have in the more undisturbed areas. Curious if a suede repair bar/scuffer would help here, or if I should just live with them as is...after all, they are distressed so it's not the end of the world, but I'd personally prefer that sueded nap over the alternative. Anyone tried this that could offer suggestions/tips?
