Any Biker Wet Shavers?

Was wondering if there are any bikers on B&B, and if so what do you all carry on long trips?

What has been working for me is Feather Nanka Shaving Gel...sticks...I don't advise soap sticks...in really hot places out west it wont last a minute and make a huge mess. Only other thing that has not caused me too much trouble is Proraso in a tube and a couple other tube items, but thing is I still advise soaking the tube in cold water for a while before use. I have a thing where I will stop off the road and shave in creeks and ponds and so on out there, one very cool spot was a creek out in the no mans lands in Utah where I camp out when in the area.

Wanting to know what kit do you carry out there on the road my brothers? For me so far my only best option has been my Merkur 34C HD, feather blades and Feather Nanka Shaving Gel...find any thing else that works? That wont melt or freeze too easily out there? Would love a little verity if I can out there, but I have stuck with this as it works...other wise I just bring trimming scissors and grow a beard.

Haha yeah it is, more to the point though to me it is very surreal to be out there like that and think of what you did out there. I mean...I don't think every one thinks of doing that much less do it. I grew up loving the out doors and nature, so yeah I thought of it when I was feeling really scruffy one particular afternoon after setting up my tent and making sure I was off the road enough into the scrub and hard pan where I didn't have to worry about my bike etc. Found a creek running, and well I got out my kit and decided to give it a try out in no where, was pretty good for a tiny mirror, I have also in other cases used one of the mirrors on my bike to shave in. I like to be creative and figure it out, no %100 bss out there, but I have gotten a few and well it dose wonders for you when your out there and feeling gritty and nasty...ponds are the best imo...I can bath and shave and wash my clothes out in ponds and the like, make a fire or let them air dry...I keep a set of spare clothes in my swing arm bag...thats all I have on my street bobber type HD...

And yeah I hear you Bk...I don't do it often myself but I keep the stuff in my bag just in case I get one of those days where I feel like it, right now I got a moustache goatee bear going...goatees about 6 inches atm lol my kids are iffy on it most of the time my youngest any way. Nice bike btw, you run cross country or? A couple times a year I will head out for a long run, most times solo for the heck of it...Cali to Main or Miami...have gone from Oakland Cali to Daytona Beach Fla for Bike Week a couple times. Now and then my girl comes with me, the roads kinda rough on her though shes a small lady not used to it.

How do you keep the stick from melting? The time I took one it melted like butter...my springer bag STILL smells like Arko...I usually keep most of the shave stuff in the bag on my forks...rest of the stuff in my small swing arm bag along with a change of clothes. I was just glad it wasn't in there...be nasty to absolutely REEK of Arko the whole trip lol

I bring the proraso tube as well, I have a micro container for preshave proraso, my mekur and a blade pack. My brush is in its hand pill bottle container.
I have a Kawasaki C14 so its not slow enough to melt away the shaving cream LOL

I just got back from a 4 day bike trip to the finger lakes (New York) and cabin. Took my Parker Shavette, a few Shark blades, bowl, brush, and $5 tube of Bigelow. No hot water, just a cold water sink. Worked great.
