Some of you must remember this thread, were I presented some vintage Semogue boar brushes... true finds that, sometimes, you can spot, forgotten in the shelves of some old Portuguese drugstores.
In that thread, another Portuguese member (nunogrl), showed some brushes that he was able to find, forgotten in a drugstore near the town where he lives.
I have contacted him, and trough him (thanks Nuno!), I was able to obtain one of those brushes. It's a Semogue 1439 boar brush. These beauties are not made anymore. But, for your entertainment and for the pleasure of your eyes only, I present you this amazing, lovely, beautiful brush. Ain't this brush a beauty?

I like particularly the blue color of the handle, so unusual in the current line of Semogue brushes. I like also the shape of the handle, a little bit longer than the handle of his brother Semogue 1438. I also find this brush a bit more ergonomic than the 1438, but here, YMMV.
The knot, (scientifically and exhaustively analyzed by the methods "look at the brush" and "passing your hand through the bristles"
) seems very similar to the knot present in the older versions of the 1438.
It came in a box of 6 brushes, with units in green, black, red, and blue. I choose one of the blue ones, because it's a unusual color in Semogue brushes (at least in the actual line-up) and because it's BLUE, a color that I like very much!
Here's another photo of this beautiful brush, now hanging in a Semogue acrylic brush stand.
Hey, Bruno, can you tell Mr. Gomes to make some more brushes with this color? I like this one A LOT!
