Another Kampfe Star Lather Catcher

Hey Guys,

I picked up this Kampfe Star today at an antique store. I've seen a few online but never in this case. I don't know much about it so if you have info feel free to share, I'd love to learn more about it. Does anyone know an approximate value on this piece? Thanks for any info, here are the pics:

I can't help you with the value, but I can say that you now own one of the most efficient single edge razors that I have had the pleasure of using. My Kampfe gives me effortless BBS with only 2 passes and a little touching up around the jawline and chin. It also hasn't asked for a blood sacrifice nor caused any irritation, which I can't say regarding other SE razors that have given me uber-close shaves (OCMM for one). Of course it could just be that I have improved my skills and the Kampfe just reaped the rewards of being the right razor at the right time. Load it up and shave!

I appreciate the reply, I hate to admit this, but I don't even know how the "other" piece works, I assume it's a stropping device, but I don't know how to operate it. Do you have any links that would help me with how to use this, I couldn't find any.
