Another happy B/S/T experience

I recently bought a Simpson's Emperor 1 in 2-Band from a B+B member and the brush arrived in yesterday's post. I unwrapped her after coming home late last night and then tested the brush this morning. Tabac might not be everyone's idea of a great soap but it has never failed me- it is certainly one way to make sure that a first experience with a new brush is a positive one.
This is my second 2-Band Simpson and it is very different to my Chubby2. A relatively tall and very elegant handle with a lovely little knot.

I measured the loft when the brush was in my posession, it is 47mm and the knot is around 19mm
