Ankuoo: best $27 ever

Doesn't work with my espresso machine.. The pump won't switch on for some reason when it's plugged in.. Weird... Works perfectly when plugged in directly

I have been using google to investigate some basic home automation, to automate a couple of light switches and power outlets. Thus far I have spent the most time reading about Belkin/Wemo (they also produce a RGB LED light strip that looks fun), but finding out any real information beyond company ads and short reviews has been difficult for any of these products. Cuadra? If it's not a home machine, it may be 20a, not 15a, not sure ankuoo can handle it?

It's the weirdest thing... Plug it in with the ankuoo and the pump won't turn on... I flip the lever and nothing... Plug it in normally and it works perfectly

Must be too much inrush current for the Ankuoo to handle.
