anceint chinese straight

I found an interesting razor online that i thought might be a good topic for a thread. I was'nt able to post pictures and it is my understanding that direct linking to live auctions is against the forum rules. (If anyone can link me to the forum rules i would be thankful, as i have been unable to find them.) This "ancient relic" razor has a narrow wood handle with a pivot, the blade is large and spatula like maybe 4" long and 2" wide or bigger. It has a very short shank and no tang. Has anyone heard or seen anything like this? I wonder if it is legitimatly ancient? It looks to be the furthest think from a practical razor. The actual dimentions ar in cm. The handle is 14cm. The blade is 10cm long and about 5cm width.

Here is the part about live auctions:

6. To prevent abusive advertisement, no member shall direct other members, either through direct hotlink or indirectly through comments or other means, to any live e-Bay auctions or other auction sites.

Do not post URLs, item numbers, or seller IDs or any similar information unless that e-Bay auction has a "buy it now" price or is contained within an e-Bay storefront.

Members should also use good judgment in posting information that may reference specific active auctions, particularly if the extra attention drawn to it would be unwanted by other members who may be bidding.

Please feel free to discuss eBay auctions only after they are closed.

Those show up on eBay periodically. I don't know if it is real or not but those could easily be faked. Are you planning on using it? Or just for decoration?

I've seen lots of those on ebay. So many that my "fake radar" needle keeps hitting the stopper on the BS side of the dial. I would save my money, if I were you. Sure, it is possible that squillions of those things have survived the test of time. China has a long history. But I am betting there is a blacksmith somewhere churning them out now, dunking them in hydrochloric acid to "age" them, and selling them by the pound.
