An inspired SWMBO

Found this on a DE razor review on Amazon:

I strongly recommend these as presents for husbands, and I intend to get a slightly different one for myself soon, as they do seem dramatically more efficient. We did an experiment with it, shaving one half of his face and one of my legs with the Parker 60R (using different blades, obviously!) and brushed-on foam, and the other side with conventional plastic cartridge razors and foam-from-a-can. The Parker-and-brush system beat the plastic razors completely, even the fancy three-bladed Schick razor and fruity-smelling ladies' shave gel I'd been using.

Also, on a somewhat racier note, I must report that kissing a man who uses a double-edge razor with brushed-on lather is a much nicer experience than the plastic or electric alternatives. The significant others of engineers may wind up being the subjects of experimentation, like me, but it's more than worth it to avoid the 60-grit sandpaper effect when he gets home from work! Experimenting with different scents and brands of gentleman's shaving soap is also interesting. He smells different every day and there's a fine excuse to 'conduct extensive testing' of the results, -for science, you understand!

Sweet! Thats a cool chick! Why would it be obvious that they used different blades though, I share em with my wife, guess I'm weird. Lol

I thought that, too. I imagine it's a knee-jerk contamination issue, but a married couple is probably swapping fluids enough that it's moot.

If my wife actually grew hair on her legs, I'd try harder to get her to switch to a DE. As it is, she only has to shave her pits and one other place I won't mention.
I think the unmentionable area as well as the pits could still benefit from a good DE. I think she'd get less irritation using that and good shave soap.
