Alternatives to Nuavia Pannacrema

Speaking with a colleague and friend on the other shaving forum he recommended Dr. Selby's Spanish shaving cream as an alternative to Nuavia.
He explained to me that it is an excellent alternative for Nuavia due to its very refined quality and high skin protection.
Could you tell me something more?
I didn't know this brand of soap.

Dr. Selby is actually not Spanish, but made in Uruguay.
It is available in a bowl (called a cream, but actually a hard puck), and also a cream within a tube. The scent in both products is a light fresh lavender.
I have both, and they work really well for me.

thank you very much, I didn't know this cream.
The friend of the group who recommended it spoke of an excellent soap.
Do you prefer the cream in the disk or the one in the tube, which one do you feel better with?

Have you ever tried Ethos? I have several of their soaps and they are top shelf. To me they could replace PannaCrema easily.

Though nothing could replace Blu.

I've got the bowl. The scent isn't special. This is one of the slickest soaps I've come across. I've been using it in a large rotation for years, the 400 shave claim might not be off. When it came back on the market I bought 2 back ups. Added a 3rd on another order.

i would say antica barberia colla is a great alternative. i would wait to get it on sale from original company in italy as they often have sales around different holidays.

There are other alternatives to these soaps that are not almond-flavoured but fragrances more similar to red Nuavia with Patchuli, cedar, tobacco.
The Pannacrema website is still open and it says: We will be back soon.
We are updating our shop and will be back very soon.
Thanks for your patience.
But strangely you can't place orders and I don't think you'll be able to buy Nuavia at a discount from there anymore.

I care about lather and shaving performance
I've wanted to try Pannacrema for a long time. I finally got a sample of Nuavia Blu. At the same time I also got a sample of Spearhead Black Watch. I think the lather characteristics are similar, but IMO Spearhead is the better performer. The slickness and residual slickness is better. I don't remember much about the post shave feel of either one.

Many thanks for the report sir.
I didn't know about this artisanal shaving product.
Do you know if they ship or arrive directly in Europe or can you only order in the U.S.?

I haven't found any information and details about this soap yet.

Does it contain tallow if I understand the meaning of your message correctly?

Their website only offers shipping to US and Canada.

To be fair, availability in Europe wasn't mentioned. That changes things.

Do you care about price, scent, ingredients, vegan/ tallow/non-tallow, soap/croap/cream?

it was previously available from Maggard Razor also for Europe, but I no longer see them in their catalogue

Sorry I made a mistake in my previous message.
I wanted to write if you were aware if they are already in Europe.
For shipping I can see, why shouldn't they ship to Europe?
Don't have the certification for the amount in the European Union yet?

I'm interested in a soap that has the same smoothness as Nuavia, and has similar foam characteristics.
I can see the scent later.
Cream or hard soap, tallow or non-tallow, croap makes no difference.
