I was just looking for a change but wanted to stay with Gillette

I haven't tried any other blades in the 7OC .

To cut this thread short I have ordered
10 x Perma Sharp
10 x Nacet
10 x Gillette Platinum
10 x Gillette 7 o'clock SharpEdge
10 x Gillette 7 o’clock Super Stainless

Some great blades in this list.

Try the Gillette Winner Stainless blades. They are as smooth as GSB to me but slightly less sharp.

My go-to blades are
Gillette Nacet
Gillette Silver Blue
Personna Med Prep
I have a bunch of Parker Premiums because they were really cheap, and they're not bad. I have a bunch of the Rockwell blades, both the old black packaging which are rubbish and the newer white packaging which aren't terrible, and lots of Astra SPs which I quite like.

Brucered had it right. If you find a blade that works for you, why change?
I use blades in the Lord family exclusively. They work for me and they’re inexpensive. I will never look elsewhere

So far I've tried Gillette Silver Blue and 7 O'Clock Super Platinum. Both were nice.

7 O'Clock SharpEdge (yellows) are a great blade. Very similar to the GSB in terms of performer and longevity. At least to me.

I would agree with you on being similar.
