What's new

Al's Boheme due for arrival tomorrow.

Al's Boheme due for arrival tomorrow..what should I expect? All I can tell from the description is that it is floral but not feminine. Any Boheme users out there care to opine?

Sadly I am horrid at describing scents, what I will say is that it is DIVINE! To be honest it did border on somewhat feminine however it was still well within the masculine range. Thus a woman can certainly pull it off. Other then that I cannot for the life of me tell you which notes he used but I loved it!

Enjoy,

D

It is one of my favorite scents that I have found so far. I am still learning to smell each component that makes up a scent but i would say It's floral but earthy scent. I believe there is rose involved here buti hardly feel as I am wearing a famine scent. I liked it so much I bought the balm and find I go to that as my most used post shave treatment. Enjoy!

All of Al's creams are wonderful performers and the scents are typically just superb. You're in for a treat. I've never used this particular scent, but be prepared for some killer lather and performance.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments. The shipment came on schedule and i've had a chance to do a test lather and a shave. I agree, the scent is hard to describe. But it is veryp nice. Floral but earthy sounds right. It actually reminds me quite a bit of Mystic Water Viola di Bosco, but way more powerful. I like the lather better from MW, but scent from Al's. My lathers haven't been great yet, a bit thin. Maybe that's just the case with creams as compared to soaps, not sure. I've been using soaps mostly for several months. But i'm also breaking in a brand new brush. That's probably the reason. I'm excited to spend some time getting to know this product!

I have always wanted to try Al's but just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Every time I go to order, I am uncertain which scent to pick. Keep us posted.

Order any- my experience has been, the scents are not overwhelming, but really nice and subtle. They lather up very nicely and are very slick. A pleasure to use. I've tried about 6 different scents. All of which are wonderful and super performers. Great company to deal with as well. I'll always have at least 2 or 3 Al's creams in rotation. I've chosen Al's Calabria scent( citrusy, but very mild, extremely refreshing, goes on nicely) for the October Highlander Shaving Challenge and will use only this scent the entire month of Oct. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.
