I showed LOML the beautiful pen on the back cover of the Fahrney's catalog that came this week.

She: That's a beautiful pen! I really like it!
Me: Remember that when you need to get me a birthday present!

I thought I was in luck until she happened to see the price!


She: Not on your life!

Its funny, I dont have a "LOML, or SWMBO", but when looking at prices of those pens i still have a little feminine voice that says that same thing to me. Even if it is in my head, its still pretty intimidating, enough so that i listen
