Almost got it.

Well last night I had decided to try and use my RR La Famiglia Don Marco soap again. I haven't used soaps in a while, RR classic cream is my standard. I guess I am not used to having to put much work into loading the brush or building a lather, but I will slowly get the hang of this stuff. I love the scent, but having to choke up and hold the brush by the bristles to get sufficient loading squeezes a lot of water out. Lathering takes a lot of time too. I guess th only remedy is another brush, maybe a boar rather than another huge floppy badger.

Gonna keep trying!

Load upside down.

Hold the bowl upside down and stick the bristles UP into the soap to load.

I do this with just about all of my soaps now.

Thanx Turtle, good tip. Mostly its just getting used to it. I pretty much buy only the Classic cream, but every once in a while I throw something else in the shopping cart. This was one of them. I still don't know if my brush has enough backbone to load really well with it, but it was nice to get a halfway decent shave with it.

So far I hve tried it 4-5 times I think, but maybe tonight I will try again. More or less just figuring this one out.
