From 6/17-6/27, Allen Edmonds is having its tent sale. Factory seconds are up to 50% off. I'm not sure of the discount on the first quality shoes. The AE website doesn't have the discounted prices up yet.

Their shoes are incredible. I have two pair that are 25 years old and still look and feel great! 
I've had AE shoes for almost 40 years now. My first pair was purchaced at the original Shoe Bank (it was an old bank) in Belgium WI. I would never buy a diferent brand of dress shoes. A trip to Port Washington WI is deadly for me. Considering the quality and serviceability of these shoes, they're as good as you can get.
At those prices, I can use a discount!

A key to this conversation is quality and service. Why do we spend as much as we do on a good brush or spend $50 or more on a Fat Boy that originally sold 50 years ago for $1.95. I've probably spent less over the years on my shoes because I got good ones that can be serviced. AE shoes are an envestment. Besides that, they're as comfortable as you can get for a dress shoe.
