So a few days ago I was supervising the search of two detainees and I catch a glimpse of a metal top in the pile. I though to myself, "that looks familar". Then the next piece comes out, "yup that's definitely a DE razor head". Finally the super thin handle is thrown in the pile. Man I wanted to grab it up and add it to the collection but two things stopped me: A) It's not the right thing to do and B) Who knows where it's been. Still pretty cool to see a DE razor in a random Afghan's pocket.

I didn't see any blades, but after seeing the DE you better believe I had them check twice.

Are the locals pretty much exclusive DE guys over there? Any particular stuff of interest you can share re: equipment, soaps, AS. etc.?

I asked the ANA lieutenant why he had that since almost all of the males are bearded. He kind of chuckled then motioned to the "below the belt" area. Brave individualy over there to be doing that. As for the rest of their equipment, I have no clue.
