It has been an exciting week for me. First, I got my second Whipped Dog Bush. I already had a 30 mm silvertip so this time I ordered a 24 mm pure black badger. I must say, after a couple test lathers and using it for one shave, I am impressed. It is soft, not quite as soft as the silvertip but soft and scrubby. I think I know what others have posted about a brush being scrubby but not scritchy.
The black badger wasn't the only "dog" I acquired this week, my wife and I adopted a 15 month old Bloodhound named Bruno.
Bruno is an awesome dog! We've had him 3 days and already he is amazing us with his intelligence. But FYI, if ever confronted by a badger, Bruno will not be any help in the fight. I let him sniff the brushes and he wants nothing to do with them. He backs away like its the scariest thing he has ever seen! To take that pic of the brushes on him I waited till he was sleeping and was very very quiet. If you could have seen him freaking out after I got the pic you would think I just told him he was getting neutered!
