Alibaba is for face lathering!

I acquired a Rooney Alibaba a couple of weeks ago, broke it in, loved its feel on my face, but was somewhat disappointed. It was just messy to get enough lather between my bowl, the brush and my face. It is a small brush and I had lather on the handle and my hand; it did not seem like enough on my face without extra effort.
Today I face lathered(TOBS cream). Eureka! What a difference! Great feeling brush, plenty of rich lather for 3 passes plus touch up, no mess down the handle. It should come with instructions that indicate that face lathering is preferred.
