Agua Lavanda Puig differences?

So it seems this stuff comes in two flavors, a glass and a plastic bottle. The plastic seems to be a lot more for cheaper...but I love glass.
Are they the same thing? Would it make any difference if I got an empty glass bottle and filled it with stuff from the plastic?

I've never tried the plastic bottle version but I do own the glass bottle and it's great.

I too had read that the plastic was watered down.

There is NO comparison between the two ! If you want the real thing go with the glass bottle,and watch out for vendors that picture the glass but are actually selling the cheap plastic version....if it's listed as 25.5 oz. it is the watered down plastic version.

I love Agua Lavanda, hence the name, in any case I have both, the big plastic bottle is somewhat weaker, but neither lasts very long, it's great to use the big bottle as an after shower splash, worth getting both if you like the scent. By the way La Tienda (tienda.com) has the glass bottle in stock most of the time, 3.3oz for $24 now, they also carry a bunch of other Spanish eau de colognes, don't bother with the Agua Lavanda soap, smells nothing like anything, except soap.

The shaveabuck place had it for like $15 in the bottle. Any similar scents with staying power or no?
Heck only real reason I chose this one was Sinatra!

The large plastic bottle is an after shower splash and could be used as an after shave, the glass bottle is the cologne and as would be expected does last a lot longer. Two different things. A fine scent and a good value.

YES! For sure this is a true classic,with maybe a touch more coumarin in it.

I love it as an aftershave.I also use both aftershave and cologne versions of Acqua di Selva as aftershave ,a fantastic woodsy scented product.No,I do not find the extra fragrant oils overpowering in the cologne versions.

Again thanks! I ordered the glass bottle and am as happy as a cat on a warm lap! btw Shaveabuck gets an a+ for super quick service. The scent quiets down and then stays close to my skin. I do like this indeed. Enjoy!

I find that unless I put too much on the scent just RUNS away! It does smell wonderful though.
