Aftershave pairing with Marzipan/Almond?

I'm just curious what you almond/marzipan soap and cream users do for aftershaves. I broke open a new tub of RR Classic and realized I didn't have anything that resembles that scent. Not that it's a huge deal because I have lots of standard aftershaves, but I like to match when I can.

Personally, I never worry about pairing my soap and aftershave scentts. The scent from the soap is so short lived that by the time I use aftershave, my face is basically a fresh palette anyway.

When I use the almond scented soaps and creams I lean to the floral/powdery aftershaves like Clubman or Master Topaz

Almost went with R-160, but I have so many RR products already that I wanted to try something new. So I found some Caswell-Massey almond aftershave balm on the bay for $10 shipped.

I have the almond CM balm. Is a nice one. In fact I liked it so much I bought a back up for when the first one is gone.

It is VERY thick and you don't need nearly as much as you do with other balms.

Floid Bálsamo (balm) goes nicely with Cella, but it does contain some parabens.

Agreed, you can be pretty flexible.
