Aftershave Find - Mennen Skin Bracer (3 Scents) from Late 60's? Full- Glass Bottles

View attachment 254788 I was in an antique store will visiting my wife's parents this week and found this. PIcked it up for $1 a bottle. Been using the Dry Lime. First smells like Bourbon and Lime, then does down to a powdery smell.

Great score!! I love vintage Skin Bracer bottles. I have the "Skin Bracer" and "Wild Moss" components of this set.

I think it's from the early 1970's. Two of the fragrances (Wild Moss, and Dry Lime) debuted in 1967 (according to Basenotes.net), so it can't be any earlier than that. It would have originally came as a four pack with the fourth bottle being regular green Skin Bracer:

I've been a Mennen Skin Bracer fan for three decades - and I've only ever come across the Original.
Great score.

I haven't verified it, but it would seem, that some of these varieties were only around for a short time. In all of my searching for vintage bottles on Ebay, I don't think I have seen any of these three pictured in this thread in anything except for gift size bottles.

Skin Bracer also made Cool Spice, Spice Scent, and Cooling Blue, with the Cooling Blue seemingly discontinued only within the last few years.

My parents gifted me the 4-pack when I was little, so I could splash on some after-(no)shave like dad. I remember loving the Wild Moss, but now I can't remember what it smelled like.

Maybe one day, in an antique store far, far away....

Congrats!
