Anxiously awaiting my first pair of Allen Edmonds shoes I finally emailed to inquire about the delay.

"[FONT=&quot]We apologize for the delay on this order. According to our manufacturing records the first pair that was manufactured for you did not pass quality control inspection. "

Oh well, better than sending me the less than up to standard pair.

More waiting.

Web site said they were in stock, but the confirmation email said 6 weeks "to make"
