Hi everyone, my wife just returned from visiting her family in Spain a few weeks ago and brought me a bottle of this-Now that I have worn it a few times I can say, it is great! A while back I was looking for a scent that more or less matched the smell of Musgo Real bar soap, and this is definitely it!
I need to wear it a bit more to get a stronger sense of the detailed notes, but overall this is an incredibly fresh, dry masculine scent. It has been described as very "soapy" and I think I get that, especially because it really reminds me of the MR soap. It opens with a really strong but very pleasant vetiver note that stays for a long time but becomes a lot more subtle over time, there might be other notes in there especially on the dry-down but I can't quite detect them yet, maybe moss?
Bottom line this is definitely a winner-My wife said it reminded her of her grandfather, but in a good way as her grandfather was a very elegant, well-dressed gentleman in the classic sense. I can't compare it to any of the other vetivers as this is my first "pure" vetiver, but I strongly recommend this if you are looking for a classic, masculine, soapy/fresh scent-
