Adjustable Open Comb Razor?

An associate asked me if there is an adjustable open comb razor. I don't recall ever seeing or hearing of one. With the amount of blade exposed in an open comb I can't picture one that is adjustable. However, I am not an expert on antique razors - so, does anyone know of an adjustable, open comb razor that was ever produced?

I discovered only recently that the original Gillette Old Types were advertised as adjustable in their instructions:

Just for the record though, that was using the older, thicket blades.

I wouldnt try that with a modern blade. Skin graft waiting to happen!
