So I'm thinking of purchasing some allantoin powder to add to certain not-so-nourishing aftershaves. Has anyone experimented with this before? I'm in the dark on how much to add. Thanks!

Allantoin is water soluble so if you are adding it to a aftershave with alcohol, good luck. Solubility is 0.5% at 25C. If you don't dissolve it just right, it can recrystallize and be like a thousand tiny shards on your skin.
