Add Lime Essential Oil to Arko?

I don't mind Arko's scent as it is, but since I just received what is essentially a lifetime supply of lime essential oil, I am considering "smooching" a few drops into a stick in a bowl.

Any pluses, minuses or caveats? Experience, input, ideas or feedback welcome.

I haven't tried this with a shave stick, but I routinely add 2 drops of lime EO to the top of my VdH puck just before loading the brush. Works very well that way. Good luck and please report back on the results from your experiments.

Sounds like it would work. It might start smelling like Sprite Maybe squish a little bit of the stick, add a drop, squish some more, add another drop. That way the Eo is disperesed throught the new formed puck

I do it with pucks of soap. Can't see any reason not to try.

It doesn't last, but it makes that morning's lather smell good.

I use a number of essential oils when using Arko soap and unscented KMF cream. I have used lemon oil, orange oil, menthol in eucalyptus oil, and lavender oil. I add 2-5 drops when I bowl lather. Works great. I have a large supply of both Arko soap amd unscented KMF so it provides me with a little variety. Orange oil can be an irritant when exposed to light. I make sure I rinse well after shaving.
