Over the weekend, I picked up Clubman Lime Sec, Clubman Citrus Musk, Clubman Vanilla, Clubman Hair Tonic, Clubman Eau de Quinine Tonic, Clubman nick relief pen, and Body Shop Maca Root Shave Cream. Not bad. Sorry about not having pictures.

Stopped into a local antique mall, and found some nice razors. For under $30, I picked up a 13/16 W. Picard, and an H. Boker Red Injun No. 101 11/16. Also, a sample sized bottle of Gillette Heads Up Hair Grooming oil for $2.

A friend of mine was going through her mother's antique collection and found this Gillette display/sales case and thought I'd like it. You bet! Now I have something to keep most of Gillettes in.

I got this for almost nothing:

It arrived last night, I was actually a bit disappointed because it felt really...frail? I think its because its a full hollow and the blade feels thing and fragile. However I sanded it quickly, probably spent about 30-40mins on it, and it looks quite good already! It might actually be salvageable. I will post some pics later on when I get back home.

I have a several of these , one with an Ivory wrapped tail. They might seem fragile but they're nice blades. Enjoy.

I haven't posted many of my scores lately but I thought this would be interesting. It has a neat history which I listed in the Straight Razor Forum.
Double bladed and owned by the Marquis de Goulaime in the Loire valley.

New B&B brush, Krampert's in the flask, and my shiny new Tradere SB. Add Mike's to that and it's just a damn fine shave.

Sounds good! I actually tried honing it last night (on my recently acquired naniwa 3/8k). It was passing HHT in the middle of the razor but not at the tip. However looking closer, I think I see some small dents that are still there (or more like rust that ate through the edge). I need to get myself a magnifier to see better. I'll probably go back to the 3k and try to hone it away.

My order from Mike's arrived last night. In addition to his vetiver and lavender shave soaps, I picked up a few bars of his bath soap and a sample shampoo bar to try.

I got in my order from Bullgoose today.

Ordered a Merkur 37C, Speick shaving cream, Tabac hair cream, Proraso Sensitive Pre/Post cream, and some assorted blades.

Thank you, will do!

edit: I used the Tabac hair cream this morning. It left my hair nice and soft, but not as much hold as I was expecting. The Tabac scent was there in spades though. Tomorrow I'll try using more product.

So far this month, I've received a Semogue 610 and Red and Black set that was replated in nickel by Krona Kruiser.

The razor looks great, and the case is in great shape too.
I'm still breaking in the brush, but it lathers soap like nobody's business.

Went to an estate sale late with my wife arriving around 12:30. But I did manage to find these. Circa 1949 Sweet!

Found this in an antique store and had to have it. I have accessorized with a few of my items but the wooden barber box is what I found. The mirror pivots in the frame which I show in the third picture. There are no marks nor name anywhere on it. The front flips up and does not even have a latch to hold it shut when in the down position. If anyone has any insight on this piece I'd appreciate it. This is said to date from the 1930's - 1940's which I believe to be accurate.
