What's new

A week of Cremo Cream???

I'm relatively new to this forum and I'm not 100% sure how certain things work, but hear me out.

For those who aren't familiar with it, Cremo Cream is a relatively new shaving cream made in the good ol' U.S.A. I realize that with shaving there is a lot of "YMMV" but I think this is a ridiculously good shaving cream. It's brushless and latherless but can be used with a brush and you can get a decent lather going. VERY slick and moisturizing.

I was chatting with the Cremo Cream people yesterday and it sounds like they are facing some challenges. They explained that they want to make their stuff locally available but they are a small company and places like Target and CVS aren't all that receptive of small guys like them.

In addition, they stated that they can make the cream in increments of 10,000 tubes so they have to make sure they can move them. Now, there is no doubt in my mind that they can move more than 10k tubes nationwide considering how good their stuff is, but this limit affects their coming out with new scents, local availability, etc.

I thought it would be nice to do a week of Cremo Cream to get some "converts," support American manufacturing, companies and jobs, and hopefully increase demand and help them out.

What do you guys think?

Cremo Cream is a great product. It is the first product that I recommend to any newbie because of it's effectiveness and ease of use (tube).

I concur with the OP and encourage everyone to have a week of Cremo. (I don't care where you get it.)

Props to Kyle for a the changes that he has made. (fresher scent, logo, new ladies line, etc) It is not easy for American business these days, especially independants in the shaving industry.

I'd like to try it. It's one of the ones on my list to try. The big stumbling block for me is I hate purchasing "expendibles" (blades, creams, soaps, etc.) via mail order due high shipping costs. . . . . Even the free shipping deals, are not that desirable for me, because you are generally forced to buy things you don't really need just to make the minium.

Living in the second largest city in the country spoils you, because you expect to be able to purchase most anything you need locally and at a reasonably discounted price. (With vintage items being an exception to that)

If Creamo does become locally available it would be a big plus for me and I will definately give it a try and possibly become a regular user.

I bought 2 tubes about 2 weeks ago after hearing that it was very slick and that it was made in America by an American company. That's good enough for me. The cream does what it is supposed to do and I'll be buying more once I'm done with these two. The fact that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg is a plus.

I have the product, and I liked it enough that I picked up the ladies version as soon as it came out. She loves it, and says it is the best she has used.

I guess there is something in creamo that my skin disagrees with. It felt like I lathered up with pepperspray when i used this stuff. Maybe just me

DH thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread (he mixes it with shaving soap to make "uberlather") and I find it to be great for leg-shaving. We've got my little brother hooked, too. If anyone out there is thinking about trying it, go for it! It's inexpensive and works great!

I noticed Cremo recently on the shelf of Bartell Drugs, a regional pharmacy in the Pacific Northwest. I haven't bought any yet, but that's just a matter of time.

I'm pulling for you guys, Kyle!

I picked up a tube a while ago, and every time I use Cremo instead of the more traditional product names in my den (Musgo, Proraso, TOBS) I'm always amazed at how the quality of shave I get with Cremo is right up there (and sometimes exceeds) with the classics.

You know...I still have some in my tube at home, but what the hell. I'll follow the link provided earlier in the thread and get another tube for the on-deck circle. :thumbup1:

Good luck, and keep the quality coming!

Regards,

Eric

I absolutly love Cremo. I actually miss the old scent but the new nice as well. My brother is anti-DE but I have been trying to get him to at least try this cream since he won't use a brush. Fantastic product! I used it today!

I like it, and the price is good. Didn't care for it so much when I tried it brushless, but worked very well when I face lathered with a brush, and that made it possible to re-lather without using more cream.

Easily available. Amazon has it with the free shipping option. I got mine from West Coast Shaving IIRC.
