How much blade is exposed? I came up with an easy way to check it. Pull a piece of cardboard/postcard along the razor and you will see how much it slices off.
For example, on Merkur 15C, nothing gets sliced off, while with a Tech you get a tiny slice coming off.
This is of course not the whole truth when it comes to aggressiveness as some razors get easily clogged with a bit longer beard, the angle might be less optimal etc.
