I just found a great shop about 10 minutes bike ride from my house here in The Hague, with a truly comprehensive selection of Edwin Jagger and C&E products. I already have a chrome DE89L for several years, which is by far my favourite razor. In fact I have two Merkurs 34c HD and 37c slant which hardly get a look in these days. I walked out with a new DE89 with the plastic imitation ivory handle (which will replace the 34c as my travel razor), and a puck of Limes and Pomegranate soap. The razor cost me just 23 euros! Lathered up and shaved when I got home. Superb. Got great slick lather (surprised me- I had negative memories of a puck of sea buckthorn soap from a couple of years ago, which was reluctant to lather well- maybe my technique has improved). All in all a great selection right here in town. Hope the shop owner makes a good go of it. She's taken on a lot of inventory!
