As I woke this morning, my attention quickly turned to the important, pressing matter of deciding which shaving brush I should use. And, more importantly, which one would look the best with the other shaving items I was using for my SOTD photo. (I'm sure I'm not the only one with this afflication.) An inspiration came quickly to me, "That bone-handled Rooney brush would look great contrasted against the bottle of Eucris cologne." I quickly reached for the brush. "What is that I feel," I thought as I slowely turned the brush. My mind tried to squelch the dawning realization, "Surely, it can't be." (For those who have weak stomachs, I suggest you turn away before scrolling down any further).
The loss of this unique and beautiful brush is not the way to start the day. I'm not worried about the monetary situation, as I know, the reputable vendor it was purchased from will be fair in adressing the situation. It's just the fact that this particular brush can't be replaced by another like it. Hence, the great joy in owning it and, disappointment in losing it.
But now, I have a great justification to buy another brush.
