A Portuguese discovery

I recently ordered a tube of Veleiro shaving cream (and on a whim added the AS splash). What a pleasant surprise! The cream lathers wonderfully and produces a very nice, slick and protective lather that was absolutely on par with my benckmark creams (Speick and Nivea). The shave was great and I totally love the fresh 'blue' maritime scent. The As is great as well and even better in the scent department. Now I just need to get the AS balm and I will have a shave to rival my Speick shaves.

I would say Ralph Lauren's Polo Sport complimets it really well

I've no idea what Cool Water smells like, so I wouldn't know, sorry.

I had it delivered to work, and a a curious female colleague sniffed it and commented: "Hmmmm, smells like man."

I tried Top Secret today for the first time.Another nice Portuguese cream from Confianca with a really potent cologne scent.

I'd been thinking of getting Veleiro. I got a sample of some shower gel when I ordered some blades from razorbladesandmore.com. I really like the scent. I may have to place an order at bullgoose for the Veleiro and some Polsilver SI's.
