there should be a barrier or a lip on the edge to keep things from rolling off onto the tracks.
Ummm, how about keeping a better eye on junior and keeping at least one hand on the pram?I know it was a fluke, but there should be a barrier or a lip on the edge to keep things from rolling off onto the tracks.

I think the number of people that would catch their toe and stumble over a raised lip would far outweigh its usefulness. It might end up more dangerous than without. Then there's the wheelchair problem to consider. IMO, of course.
That's what I was gonna say. Then there'd be another video, this one about people tripping over the lip and falling onto the tracks. All this stuff to aid the clueless, like lane-departure warning for cars, and self-parking, it all irks the Hell out of me. What ever happened to pulling your head out and paying attention?
