A lucite Tweezerman on sale

How long do these usually hold up for? I'm getting a brush for my girlfriend's birthday (long story lol)... if this thing holds together well it may be worth looking into =D

After about 7 months, mine didn't lose much hair. As long as you give it at least 48 hours to dry, I can't see why it won't last a few years.

I browsed their site and found this:

http://www.tweezerman.com/scripts/item.cfm?gc=OT&sc=LC&itemsku=Z4025-R

It's suppose to be made for women but it's badger and will work just the same. I bet that once it's time for replacement, it will look great with a TGN 20mm super badger or silvertip.

First off, why are you browsing the women's section of the site?:lol::lol:

Huh. I don't even get what about the handle design makes it especially for women! O marketing, you fickle beast.
Yeah it looks cool, but it says it's for women so I am hesitant!
Why?

What possible difference could there be?

ummm, the handle?

it does look nice. relax, and have no qualms for getting it if you so desire, there are no "his and hers" badger hairs.

besides, there are plenty of gents (myself included) who will occasionally use a lady Gillette razor for facial shaving. I like the longer handle. Nothing about it (except the pink one :biggrin1:) says off-limits to men.

simple marketing...it isn't the manly-looking wooden handle

I guess it is some ego and a bit of worry if someone sees it and knows it's a women's brush :em19: Also if it's designed for women maybe it won't be as good for lathering a beard.

will work the same - badger hair is badger hair is badger hair

Breasts and the Va Jay are designed for a woman and I don't hear any men complaining about using them!

FTW!!!!:thumbup1:

EDIT: it could be that it's in the women's section because it's part of a set that includes a soap that may be intended for women....just a thought
