Soap was from a wonderful PIF from @TheLegalRazor The rest of the software I had to dig deep into my shaving boxes.The Fine splash has about two fingers left and the C&S stuff is close to full. I also have some of the Vetiver splashes I bought to use with Martin de Candre. The Zenith Manchurian was nice on I believe it's third outing. The blade dispenser says Super Krona comfort Edge. Shave 2 was smooth and sharp. One nick on my upper lip, but, otherwise no drama.

With the announcement of the Shavemac configutor going away and them not having what I want on the standard brushes, I consulted with Rudy and put a special order in for a DO1 knot. 24mm Bulb by either 52 or 54 depending on what Bernd gets back to me with. Normally I would get Rudy to make me a brush, but, DO1 he orders ahead of time.

I should have used the beard trimmer for the first pass, but, instead I tried to use my first gen British aristocrat OC. Sadly it was too much. Halfway through the pass I switched to the WR2. It was still rough going, but, at least it was possible. The lather from the Fine Classic Soap could have been more slick. I think it could do with hot blooming. I forget how I used Fine and Tabac which was much the same. The Zenith Manchurian brush performed well. I started face lathering, but, tried going to the bowl to slicken it up. Nonetheless it felt good on my face.

It's nice reading some good things about Proraso Red. I love it, and it's a true Sandalwood scent.

DFS+ 9.8 no drama

I wanted to use a vintage or adjustable razor, but, with a weeks beard the WR2 1.25 SB is just superior in every way. It had been a week on last Thursday making the WR2 a necessity. I also forgot to soak my brush which meant the need for a synthetic. Regardless today's gear and software was awesome.
