A good DE blade scraper?

I'm looking for a scraper handle that takes DE blades instead of the more standard SE blades.

I've got a pair of older wood stoves that soot up the glass something fierce, and a quick scrape with a razor blade does the trick. I keep tons of DE blades on hand for the obvious reasons, and I'd like to use them instead of stocking SE blades specifically for my scraper, something like this:

Any ideas? :confused1

That old one might be just the ticket! Dropped that guy a message, thank you!!

It's not chintzy either, built to last. I appreciate that

I assume you're going to put USED blades in the scraper, after you're done shaving with them? Even if you have a large stockpile, there's no need to waste a perfectly good new blade to scrape your stove. Besides, its a good way to recycle and get extra life from them.

If necessary, you could probably make your own handle ... a couple of pieces of baseboard moulding would be about the right size. Drill some holes to mount bolts to hold the blade in place, and carve the remainder into a nice comfortable grip.

It would definitely be used blades going into the scraper, have no fear. The SE's last a while, so I figure there should still be a bit of life left in my DE's once my face is done with them. The stove doesn't mind a few ingrowns it would seem.

I'd DIY, but I fear what I might put together might not look so nice sitting on my hearth. I'm all thumbs
