A good all in one soap?

Can anyone suggest a good all in one soap for face, hands and body?

Ive realized the soap AD is getting out of hand since theres four different kinds on my sink alone plus a puck of shave soap. KMF, JR Liggett's, Dial, and Dr. Bronner's. JR Liggett's doesn't really count I guess.

I'm back to a college student's budget and I'd liked to trim it down to maybe one bar plus the shave soap. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be very appreciative. Preferably sub 5 bucks a bar too.

Thanks,

Bryndon

I really like Pre de Provence French triple-milled bars. They ALL smell great, they last ages, and they are fantastic for your skin (won't dry like Dial). They are veggie based, very moisturizing, and blah blah blah. I especially like the Sage scent, and it has oat husks (I think) in it for a nice exfoliating action, but also the Verbena and Rose ones are in the rotation. They are not too cheap, at around $7 a bar, but they last forever if you allow them to dry between uses, so they may work better for you in the long run in terms of savings - my wife and I use a bar in the shower, and with 2x daily uses a bar lasts about two months.

hmm...doesn't Dr. Bronner's soap supposedly have lots of uses? If I had to choose one bar for everything I would use Dr. Bronner's.

I've used Kirk's Coco Castile for years. It has a terrific lather and smells great. Now and then, I'll even wash my hair with it.

The best part is the price. Whole Foods charges way too much; I can usually find it for $3-$5 for a three pack at local stores. It's not carried as widely as it used to be, but it's still around if you look. I especially like the retro packaging - it hasn't changed in years.

I usually keep several three packs on hand. When people come over they often like it since I have it set out as a hand soap in the bathroom. I always give them a bar out of my stock to take home.

I wouldn't. I really wanted to like Bronners but found it drying, especially in the colder months. All that coconut oil.

It's awful for use on the hair too, will leave it feeling like straw, particularly if you have hard water.

I much prefer a detergent based body wash for all over use. Have been using Original Source for a while now and have had no issues using it all over. The only problem is it's not a soap, there's more packaging and it's not as economical as a soap.

Certainly speeds up my showers in the morning though!
