A Gillette ??? 1968

I purchased a 1968 (N-2) birth year razor from eBay. It is in nice shape. It has a 1-9 adjustment. What is it???

N-2 Adjustable would be a Slim Adjustable, since the black-handled Super Adjustable didn't start production until N-3.

The Slim is a great razor - well regarded by many around here!! Enjoy!!

Thanks for the help with that!! Are the black handled N3's hard to come by? I would then be getting into my year and quarter!!

Since N4 was the last Slim, a SA dated N3 would have to be a very early production piece, maybe even from a pre-production test run. There have also been Slims reported built in 1968 with some SA-type adjustment plates.

This thread talks about those odd razors, and indicates that Achim (Mr. Razor) documents a SA from N3.
