My friend is taking a trip to Italy, what shaving creams, soaps, after shaves, and/or frags should I tell him to bring back. Stuff that is cheap in Italy but cost more to get in the States.
A beautiful Italian woman of course. Trust me, I have one of my own.

+1 on the Santa Maria Novella.
I went to Italy this past summer and went to their original store in Florence, which is absolutely gorgeous, looks like a museum. Their shaving soap is still pretty pricey at the store, but it is cheaper to buy it there than here in the states. Totally worth it though, probably my favorite soap I've ever used.

Also, I picked up my first Proraso in a convenience store in Rome for an insanely cheap price. I think it was about 2 euro. Stock up on some cheap Proraso!
+1. The one from the Fiat commercial would be a good choice.
You can get a kilo of cella for as little as 10 EURO in Venice. Can probly find it in other places but thats where Ive found it a couple times
