A badger for The Fat

I have been using creams, a scuttle and a Vulfix pure badger for the last 18 months. Just switched over to MWF, lathered directly on my face. Wow - what a beautiful lather this soap makes :001_smile

Last week I ordered a Semogue SOC Cherry boar and I am looking at adding a silvertip or something nice to my kit. My trusty Vulfix does a good job but I'm looking for a denser brush that will do a better job with soaps. Looking for that thick and creamy lather.

Shavemac #177 brushes have caught my eye but would like your views. I have small hands so thinking a 21mm knot. It would be a bonus if the brush works a great lather in a scuttle just as well as it would directly on the face.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Regards, Rick

I haven't tried a lot of brushes, but the da Vinci 293 works great with MWF for me, and it is a fairly small brush.

Thater 4125/2 two band, Simpson Duke 3 two band, M&F Blonde Badger, or Rooney 1XL/2XL Heritage two band..... these all work great on the fat for me.
