50's Aristocrat Jr. (diamond baseplate) vs. 40's style British Rocket?

What's the difference between a Gillette Aristocrat Junior made in the 50's and a 40's style British Rocket?

To me they look the same: similar handle and both have a baseplate with the diamond-shaped recess. I assume the weight is pretty similar too. Was the main difference in the packaging?

And according to Shavewiki's blade gap chart (http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index.php/Double-Edged_Safety_Razors_Ranked_by_Aggressiveness) both should be very mild shavers - blade gap even smaller than a Tech. I found that info quite surprising for some reason.
